Hello! I’m Odette Hall, and I love thinking and writing about spicy smut.  I loved to write and world-weave for as long as I can remember, and my journey into the world of very spicy romance & erotica novels began early in life. Finding myself captivated by the weathered pages of old “bodice-ripper” books that adorned the dusty shelves, I was forever drawn to the beautiful swooning women in the arms of a man (Hello, Fabio!). Naturally, I turned straight to the smutty parts. Little did I know, this fascination would evolve into something more.

​This spark grew later in life for romance when I realized that writing the topic was just as fun as reading it. It became a cathartic and healing journey, and now it is my goal to provide that for readers as well. I strive to create novels and novellas that stirs emotions in my readers and transport them into worlds filled with love, longing, and unbridled passion. ​

What is erotica, and how is it different from romance novels? How steamy/spicy are your books?

Erotica literature focuses mainly on sex and sexual desires, and it can be explicit and graphic in nature. Romance novels may have explicit scenes, but it might not be as frequent and focus on a larger, over arcing plot. My erotic literature stories will contain multiple sex scenes with a multitude of relationships and types of love. It may also include different and same genders, multiple partners, toys, BDSM, morally gray characters, and more. Always with a happy ending. Trigger warnings will always be included in the book information pages on this website.

Why do you write erotica?

It is enjoyable, exciting, and fun! It is a form of entertainment media that is meant to entice, excite and explore. I love creating content that helps people to be more secure in their sexuality, be more accepting and body positive, to normalize a basic human instinct, and to contribute to smashing the patriarchy!

Why do you have trigger/content warnings?

My published erotic shorts and novels may include content that may not be suitable for all readers. My work explores many different sexual situations, actions, people, non-humanoids, toys, etc. that the reader may not be comfortable with. Alternatively, the reader may be craving a specific read! I wish to give the reader a comfortable and safe experience.

Why should I read erotica?

Every answer is different for the individual reader. In my opinion, it gives everyone the opportunity to explore fantasies, different taboos, toys, genders, etc, in a safe environment. It allows the reader to explore their own sexuality without watching content that could possibly harm an actor/actress or put them in danger. It can satisfy a curiosity that real life may not allow, and could be a healing journey as well.

How often do you send a newsletter, and what’s in it?

Generally, newsletters are sent once a month. In it, I include new book releases, bonus content, and more to keep readers in the know. Please note that images and text through the newsletter could be lightly suggestive, but never highly explicit. But the world of Hall is all about eroticism! The images could include future book covers, and may be suggestive in nature; and I discuss, imply and tease its contents.
